I am studying nursing right now, and I hope to get my MSN in nursing. I really want to go into anesthesia because it sounds so interesting (I know I can't even spell it right but I will eventually!)

The reason is that I really don't want to deal with negative people. Dont' get me wrong. I love people and helping others which is one of the primary reasons for me going into nursing. But I really don't want to deal with the negative people. Is anesthesia a good career for me because of this?

I see there are background checking companies on the internet. How do the hospitals check/what companies do they use? I feel I have gotten turned down for positions I should not have and I need to know if there is something in my background checks or otherwise that I should know. I know I am a good person. I am a thoughtful/hardworking health care provider and I feel I should be employed full time. I appreciate your response.

My GPA is currently 2.7 on 4.0 scale.....I go to a UC; I'm planning on bringing my gpa back up.....but I was just wondering if there are any schools that'd admit me with a 2.7gpa in Biology.
If not a PA...I don't wanna go to med school, but i wanna do something related to biology....I don't mind another 2yrs of school as long as I get a good job afterwards.....any suggestions.....my gpa is not great as you can see....so considering my gpa....what can i do?

I'm getting ready to write a letter to the Boaed of Nursing Examiners. I was wondering if there is anyone who has written them? I have looked over what they want included in the letter but was wondering how I should write the letter. Should it be a long to the heart letter or should I leave it short and stick to the facts. I've already talked to a few people who have written the BNE and wanted to get a few more opinions from people who have gone through this process. Thank you in advance for your help.
