Well i think you are in the middle of churning a great career for yourself. You could work as a financial analyst with some market research firm, as a business analyst with an IT company dealing with financial software, a consultant with a shares trading co., or if worse comes to worse in financial product sales! And thats the beginning of a great career.

Finance is a good career field and there are unlimited opportunities in banking, and financial management.

However, it concerns me that someone is working on an MBA and yet has no concept of how to use the knowledge they have obtained to get a job. This shows a serious flaw in the education system.

People come on YA all the time, asking I have just finished a degree in XXXXX or I am finishing a degree in YYYYY what jobs can I get with that major. There is a serious lack of maturity in our college students, if they have no goals in college except getting the degree. It has become obvious to me the easiest job in the US is to work in the career counseling center at a college or university. Nobody ever goes in and ask, what majors are good for getting jobs in the future.

You have a good major, and I wish you the best.

Finance would never die. Just study well and get good grads.
and when you do, create a very good resume', if you cant make one, get it done professionaly, carefully study any job approtunity which might interest you. and dont just apply for the sake of applying, like most people do, i get around 100 resume's everyday, and most of them are not even relevant to the requirement i have stated. So be careful, you only have 2 seconds to impress your prospect employer. so your resume' is very important.
another thing, Resume' is a not pronounced as resume. these are two different words. So make sure you say it right.

Here are some portals from singapore for you to apply when you are ready. Do write back shud you need for info on anything. These website may also have presence in more countries.

All the best
