Im a Mass Comm. graduate and wants to go for another course which is Nursing? Is there any online courses that I can take as I am working.
Also, if you got a diploma from online course, can you work in a hospital?
Thanks!

As Lil One has suggested, the online nursing degree, is fine, if you have an associates degree as an RN, and want to complete your bachelors. In this case, the needed course work is the didactic component and not the clinical component. However, if you have a communications major, you do not have the clinical background to support the information provided in an online course. It is important to have the structured clinical courses, in developing the basic skills neccessary to perform as an RN. You might be able to learn the information to pass the NCLEX-RN, but would not be safe to work in a hospital.

Go to a bridge program for people with a previous baccalaureate degree. You may also have to get the prerequisites prior to starting a nursing program, as your Comm degree might not have covered the sciences that are required for the BSN program.

Good Luck.

You don't want to get a degree in nursing online. If you already have a bachelors degree most universities offer a "second degree" in nursing in anywhere from 12 to 15 months. Which gives you a second bachelors degree and you can become an RN! Due to it being a "second degree" it really depends on the schools in your area but some schools have nights/weekend programs so you can still work and other school programs do not suggest you working because of all of the time it takes.

You can't get an initial RN or LPN degree on the internet..that is why you can't find a program.

THE STATE will not permit it.
