It's a great field of work! Anything in the medical field is hot right now and will be for many years to come. I have a friend who was a waitress for many years, no degree, went to a rad tech training school and started working right away with good pay. She got more and more training and now managed a private practice making incredible money. Check www.salary.com for your line of work and salary ranges.

Go talk with the local training schools (find one with a great reputation.. just go ask the local hospitals first) and ask them for advice. They will be able to jump start your career!

Good luck!
