i can't figure out what MAS and gtts mean.. or stand for.. and i also don't know what IV stands for, for the IV machines.. please help?

There are at least 39 common abbreviations using MAS in medical/nursing literature, and it would be difficult to be sure which is the correct one in this case. But as the other two abbreviations relate to drug administration and dosing, it may possibly be medical administration schedule (which is a term used less often than MAR - Medication Administration Record)

gtt - stands for drops

IV is an abbreviation for intravenous

I believe MAS is probably standing for
Medication Administration Supervision

the other response was right that gtts is drops it's the number of drops per minute to be infused

IV is intravenous

MAS: Master of Applied Science or Milliampere-second
gtts: drops
IV: intravenous (in the vein)

MAS is a Master's of Applied Science

gtts is an abreviation for drops

IV stands for intravenous
