I am very undecided and am trying to figure out which of these two careers wouold be better for a mom with young children with regards to schedule, pay, ability to spend time with family, etc. Please give me your thoughts and insights, especially from other moms in these professions. Thanks.

well i like ultrasound but it also alot of wear and tear on your wrist so i would not stay in ultrasound more that five years.you would want to get training in another field like mri or x-ray.
now dental hygienist has longevity is also a rising field. but your going to be looking in peoples mouth's all day.and not every office is going to pay the same.
