i went out on disability ( i have end stage kidney disease(failure). I'm on dialysis 3 times a week,4 hours a day. my supervisor and HM asked me to resign, i stated my doctors told me not to( i wouldn't get my disability then) they fired me 3 days later. how do i go after them!! I'm considered disabled. all info would be great!! i worked for animal care and control of NYC

I want to go to pre med school and med school so i can pursue psychiatry. is it really difficult? do only some schools offer this?

also, by the time i can practice psychiatry, ill be about 30 because of all the schooling. is it possible to have a job before then?

My previous company gave me a starting bonus, and when I left in less than a year, I was forced to repay a portion of the bonus to the company. Can I claim that loss on my taxes, and if so how?

I worked for this company for 6 months in 2005, and left in January of 2006. I have a W-2 from them for the first two weeks of 2006, when I was still an employee - and it does not reflect the money that I repaid the company, which was presumably counted against when I recieved the bonus originally, in 2005...

I have worked in customer service for 5 years on the phone. When people call in, they never have their account numbers. They are always on their cell phones driving with their windows down, yelling at their kids in the background or talking to other people. Are there that many people out there with little or no manners? Do people not know what phone ettiqute is? Is it that hard to find your account number before calling? Sure we can look up your name in our database, but customers ususally get angry when it takes the extra few minutes and act like they are in SUCH a hurry when they could have just had the info ready? Is it really that difficult people?

You get a letter from a lawyer saying you need to give more. But you don't have it. You moved away from home. You have a used car and live payday to payday. You don't have extra earnings. What happens to the victims? How far into the future do they or their family have a play on your earnings or inheritances?

I claimed 9 on my job all year and I don't have any dependents. My friend told me that it would be ok to do that, and that way I will not be charged federal taxes. I had a full time job for 9 months, then got a freelance job in which I have to file a 1099 form. Do I have to file a 1040a for my full time, then a 1099 separately for my freelance job? And what about for state taxes? Do I need to file 2 forms for state? I'm confused, please help!
