I want to know if there is a way to refinance my student loans? I graduated in 1993 and have since consolidated my loans. I'm currently paying 9% interest on these loans. I don't know what the current rate is on student loans, but I know it's alot lower than 9%. Why can I refinance my home, my car, consolidate my credit cards, but can do nothing with my student loans?

Hi
I was wondering if anybody can help me with my situation. I am looking for advise from your experiences or people you know.

I recently graduated from UC riverside with a degree in Political Science and I do have plans of possibly returning to school for a masters but i haven't decided on a field yet. I was wonder how other people have broken into job with large corporations? i understand my degree isn't exactly directed toward the business world but i was hoping there may be people in similar situations.

Basically i would like to know how you started with your company and what type of entry level jobs have the greatest room for growth.

i have work experience and am currently employed but i don't feel it is something with very much room for growth.

So any tips or advice would be much appreciative.

For now, my partner and I have been despoiting money into our business account because we have just been getting everything situated and have not recieved any money for any services yet because we didn't have any clients in 2006. We did, however, purchase things to help get teh business going. Do I have to pay taxes if I never paid anyone anything? What form would I use? Thank you so much!
