I'm preparing taxes this year and am looking to gain clients. In Atlanta metro, and I'm currently doing postings on Craigslist, but I'm not sure of any other outlets that I'd be able to advertise on for free. Any suggestions?

I just started working at Food Lion last week being paid 6.50 an hr. I was concerned if the minimum wage is raised to the 7.25 an hr today that the House is voting on, would they possibly terminate me because they can't afford to pay every worker 7.25? Right now, I'm the newest worker there. Any thoughts?

I worked for the same company for nearly 6 years and in this time i have never taken my full holiday entitlement due to the constant high amount of work and presure to get jobs finnished. It was always very hard to see how many holidays i had left as i could never get a straight answer from my boss and i very rarely got any of my pay slips. Since leaving the company i cannot get hold of my boss but he is disputing what i am owed (wages, expenses, holiday pay)

My bf and I have started putting money into an ISA but we are only 22. I just think it's a little bit young to worry about when we retire, I'd rather spend the money on doing up the house. Have you started saving yet. I got a letter a few months ago from the DWP and it says I should get like £100 a week when I have my pension and my bf slightly higher because he works full ime, is this true? I thought they had scrapped the whole government pension thing for when we get to that age. Will we still get a pension in 40 years time?

I believe it's possible but I can't put the ideas together in my head. What are some unique ways people have made a million dollars in less than a year? If you're a millionaire, how long did it take you? Does it really require a bunch of money to make money?

But the only things listed on my husbands last paystub for taxes withheld are:
FED MED/EE
and
FED OASDI/EE

I don't think either of these is the one I want to use for federal taxes withheld. Am I right or is it one of these two?

I have long thought that the current system of America's finicial instituions and government is designed to keep most of america in poverty , ie the rich get richer the poor get poorer.
I think I may have a solution- please give my your thoughts. with honest critisism -
If a group of people each chose to withold 10% of their income from their checks and when it was returned at the end of tax season - put each person 10% (or the remainder) into a single account and pay off the lowest of each bill among the group . Bills begin defined as non - utility (cable, phone, heat, lights, water, trash, rent) bills. In order to not have the system abused - demand a 5 year agreement from each member, and an independent accountant to manage the monies.

What do you think? Would it work to get a large number of people out of debt? -

I do realize that some people would pay more than others with the 10%.

thoughts?

I would like to make my work day start at 8:15am and end at 4:15pm so that I may enroll in college and also take my only child to dance and gymnastics classes. Before I approach my boss with this request I want to make sure that he doesn't have the lunch break thing to deny me this request. So I want to know if I can waive this meal period since I don't take lunch often anyway I just snack at my desk which he allows.
