I believe it's possible but I can't put the ideas together in my head. What are some unique ways people have made a million dollars in less than a year? If you're a millionaire, how long did it take you? Does it really require a bunch of money to make money?

PS.. let's be realistic and forget about the lottery... :-D

Well, there's hard work, talent, dedication, and time, but absent all that hocus pocus, here's an idea:

If you're rich and have a dollar to start with, all you have to do is double your money every day for 20 days. If you only have a penny to your name, you can still pull it off, but it will take a week longer. How exactly you double your money is up to you, but if you can turn a penny into two pennies, surely it's just a matter of numbers from there... right?

Starting sum: $0.01
Day 1: $0.02
Day 2: $0.04
Day 3: $0.08
Day 4: $0.16
Day 5: $0.32
Day 6: $0.64
Day 7: $1.28
Day 8: $2.56
Day 9: $5.12
Day 10: $10.24
Day 11: $20.48
Day 12: $40.96
Day 13: $81.92
Day 14: $163.84
Day 15: $327.68
Day 16: $655.36
Day 17: $1,310.72
Day 18: $2,621.44
Day 19: $5,242.88
Day 20: $10,485.76
Day 21: $20,971.52
Day 22: $41,943.04
Day 23: $83,886.08
Day 24: $167,772.16
Day 25: $335,554.32
Day 26: $671,088.64
Day 27: $1,342,117.28

There you have it!

a million dollars is NOTHING now adays. I read some article that in the past year alone the number of people who have 1 million in their bank account grew by like 200% or something crazy like that. In 10 years at my current just I can make a hell of a lot of money and my chances of becoming a millionaire get better every year - so - absolutely would not give up 10 years

Good question. I have good news for you: It doesn't take money to make money. It takes a good idea, and proper application of that idea, with the proper help and resoruces to make that idea into a million dollar idea. But the bad news is you have to be willing to do what it takes.

For example, JK Rowling wrote Harry Potter, a book - which started from an idea, and put into application - written as a story in a book - and with the help of her friends, she was able to sell that book as a best-seller and she became a millionaire.

So, if you want to make millions, you need to write down your ideas, pick the best, most useful idea, and start working on it. It takes time and effort to bring that idea into a useful product or service, and some help from friends. If you need money, you can borrow money - but your idea has to be good enough and there has to be a written plan to market the idea so that someone with money will be willing to invest their money into it.

You also need to have the burning desire to become a millionaire - otherwise, any set back will knock you down and you'll give up. You have to have that burning desire to push you ahead and keep going despite failures.

It is possible to make a million dollars in a year, but are you willing to do the work?

I would start by going to your local library, or bookstore - whatever your preference - and picking up Robert Allen's "Multiple Streams Of Income."

It hits on everything from intellectual properties to creative ways to buy real estate with little or no money down to tax liens/deeds and the list goes on.

I would personally go with real estate. By the end of the year, it's very possible to control a million dollars in assets. It's possible to have a million dollar net worth, but it will take pure determination, due diligence and work.

Oh, and please, whatever you do, make sure you associate with the right people. Find someone in your area who's done whatever you venture to do, and see if you can find a mentor.

Best wishes to you,

-Kendrick

There's a saying, "It takes money to make money". Start an online business and research on what is the most popular item that sells the most. If you sell rare antiques that are sought out by collectors, you could make alot of money with that.

Well if you ask 1000 people for 1000 dollars = 1,000,000.
If you ask 10,000 people for 100 dollars = 1,000,000.
If you ask 100,000 people for 10 dollars= 1,000,000.

You could try and play the lottery!

If you have old antique items, you can try and sell them on ebay (it actually works) you would be surprised what people will buy for large amounts of money!
