If I want to have a decent amout of $$ when I retire what kind of investments should I do in m;y 401k. If I invest 10 percent of my income, will this be decent? Mind you I am only 21, But I want to start my 401k early, that way I am not in trouble later. If I invest about 2000 to 3000 a year (for the first couple years, until I can put in more a year) How much will I have roughly in 20 years.

I mean, when you change careers because you don't like/hate your job, and now you make much less money,and/or have to start all over. Did you willingly do it,knowing that you would make much less,but did it anyway?How did it all work out in the end?Was it worth it for YOU?(not what your friends and family thought of your decision).I know am not the only one in this situation.Thanks for your input friends!

Its a case of a team of care workers, and the team have been upgraded in pay to a certain level. I must stress the team have been awarded it. As long as there are no performance related issues or disciplinary etc, can the company disclude two members of the team on the basis that they forgot to include them? I work with people who are on varying salaries due to experience and their negotiation prior to working for the company, but this is different. And the questioon is for my partner.

I work at Pep Boy's in servis. The store maneger thinks he is untutchabl.He is constently making sexual remarks to the staf and acusing us of shortages.(Shrinkage).We have a very high turnover of feale staf do to his advances.
