I constantly get calls at work from different 'yellow pages' listings calling to "update my listing". When I ask to be removed from the listing, they say they cannot remove me...when I ask not to be contacted, they get confused. Is there a way to permanently remove our company and not get these phone calls anymore? I get at least 2 per week! We are listed on the Do Not Call registry, but are still getting all types of solicitation calls.

I keep getting transferred and sent to voicemails and things to that nature. The people at my bank refuse to comply with my wishes & I don't think I'll be getting a response from the voicemail I left. What is the best way to handle the situation? This is in regards to fee reversal for overdrafts. Please give me some advice on handle people who give you the run around...

I know that it means, for instance, if you have 1000 shares, you will now have 100, leaving you with a whole lot less money than you had, but does that usually spell trouble for the future of this stock or is there still a chance that the stock price will go up and you will have a chance of getting some of your money back. Are there sometimes legitimate reasons for a stock doing this. I suppose it depends on many factors. This may be a difficult one to answer, just a general reply would be great. I'm thinking about taking what's left and running with it, perhaps investing in a better stock with better potential for profit to recoup some of my money. Any advice, anyone?

We went to visit a townhouse almost 4 weeks ago and nothing has gone smoothly. It took almost 2 weeks just to get a application and is now taking 2 weeks to do credit reports? I even printed out my own credit report to give to the potental landlord and he did not except it. I just don't know what to think at this point. Is he trying to legally reject the application by going through the necassary process? Or is he just being very thorough with the process? He "says" that we are the only ones he is running a check on.

My father and I have a house together and I moved out and got married. He has rented the house with out my input and is keeping the money from it . He acts like it is his house. The title to this house is in both of our names mine first and his name not and or . I know he cant sell it with out my signature but I wouldnt put it past him to have his g/f sign my name to it. I just got it like 5 mins ago and was talking to a friend and she said to me that I would have to do taxes.
I don't know how and my dad does that stuff. I dont trust him to handle my money or even know how much I have in the bank.

How does one go about doing taxes!? I also file for the fafsa soon, how do I go about doing both....life just got more complicated,but its okay because Im getting old and I have to have a bank account some time in my life.

They are due on april 15th right?
I got my first paycheck a week ago and am confused. Im going to deposit it in a little while.

when I signed stuff there was talk about perjury and the like,
I am an honest person, everything was true.

I have recently started a second job at Domino's Pizza for a bit of extra cash. I asked about filling in a P46, and was told by the manager that I wouldn't need to do one because the tax is the same with or without one, and that if i did fill one in then it would make dominos my main job with the lower tax code, and put the higher tax code on my full-time monday-friday job. Is this correct??

Just to give you and example, I'm an hourly employee, I work 9 hours and one of them is lunch, which Im not paid for. My suppervisor said that I have to work while Im taking my lunch, I told her I'm not going to do that and for that she fired me.
