Just to give you and example, I'm an hourly employee, I work 9 hours and one of them is lunch, which Im not paid for. My suppervisor said that I have to work while Im taking my lunch, I told her I'm not going to do that and for that she fired me.

I think that you were wrongfully fired. Your supervisor has no right to tell you that you have to work during your lunch. Thats just plain rude. You should take the matter further. Who knows who else she will try to fire because they have a different opinion from her. Take a stand!

It's illegal, your employer can not make you perform any job duties while off the clock. You should file for unemployment and file a grievance against the company (with your state).
