I received a coupon in the mail that is worth 15% off from my next
purchase at a store. The coupon encourages me to give it to a friend
or family member. Is it legal for me to sell this coupon on Ebay? The
coupon only says that it has no cash value.

You can sell it if you want. People sell coupons for the Dell store on eBay all the time. It just depends on if it will be worth something to someone else or not.

There is usually a cash value printed on the coupon itself. Most often it is worth a whopping 1/250 of 1 penny (or less)

If it came in the post it is most likley a scam. By all means sell it, but don't, if you have a consciense.

I think (from your words eg mail, store etc.) that you are living in USA, and if the coupon says it has no cash value you should not sell it. You are most likley to be sued by the company... especially in USA!

curiously to be valid, I have been given the comparable e mail and such as you i'm skeptical. yet i could dig extra in accordance to the final record i.e. the settlement very final approval isn't till June so as meaning it in all probability isn't till October till human beings start up receiving assessments. The area that makes me leery is that certainty which you may desire to record a declare which might propose giving them your very own information. It would not seem nicely well worth the situation for "UPTO $10" meaning you may get 10 money or 10 cents. I have been given area of a classification action settlement as quickly as interior the BoA classification action fit, something approximately BoA over charging interest to their CC holders. I have been given a whopping 40 9 cents and it took a pair of year to get it. fee the dumb jerks greater to mail the letter than the examine substitute into nicely worth. could not even purchase a awful cup of espresso with it.

It has no cash value and why would someone buy it when that person can use the money to buy something from the store. There's no logixc to your intentions. Sorry to rain on your parade.
