I am in the construction field and I am considering getting an online degree in construction management to further my career but I do not want to spend the money or time if companies are not going to value it in close proximity with a conventional college degree. Is there a website that can help me determine how the different online colleges are rated in real world business?

My workplace has at least 2-3 mouse sightings daily (in broad daylight with lots of people around!). That's dramatic considering that old saying 'for every one you see, there are 50 more hidden away'. Currently they are trying to handle the problem cheaply and ineffectively by laying a few traps.

The problem has been getting progressively worse and I believe that more drastic methods are needed. This can't be a safe, healthy working environment... I think a lot of the staff are concerned about forcing the issue with management for fear of being labelled as trouble-makers. Can anyone offer any advice on how to deal with this issue?

I just purchased a coat that is over $110 in NY but would like to return it in NJ where I live. Will I get a full refund in sales tax ? A friend of mine just told me that the sales tax will not be refunded if I return an item over $110 from NY to NJ.

Please help!

Thanks...

Now, the person who HIRED me, was the owner. And he never really supervised me much. I only met him... 4 times?

So, do I put someone else? Like the manager? (Who supervised me and evaluated me...) Or the person who hired me?

It's very frustrating to see job after job with just a PO box address or a generic e-mail address. How can you tailor a resume and cover letter to meet the needs of the employer?

What would be the best way to release some of the equity without remortgaging. We are both in our middle to late 50s and need some money without getting a loan.We thought of selling 20% of our property to one of these companys,is this the best way to do it?our house is currently worth £300.000+.We have 7years to go before we finish our payments. We would be able to pay off the balance, freeze or sell on the 2endowments we have and that way give us the ready cash to use now when we need it.We dont want any loans, what would be your advice?have you ever done this?was it a help or a rip off?

San Diego East county. Seems like all the hospitals want people with experience or they want RN students. I don't care what position I get in a hospital as long as I can get my foot in the door.

I am planning to invest Rs 50,000 for the next 5 yrs in mutual funds of a corporate house. I want 40 % of my investments to be put in construction, 30% in steel, 20% in cement & 10 % in chemicals. However, is it a must for the fund manager to invest a significant portion of my investments in software sector for getting a high return ? Will the mutual fund house listen to my requirements or do they feel their pattern of investment will give higher yields than my required investment pattern ?
