Items sold from a person to another person IE. none buisness at a loss do not require a payment of taxes. However if you have a buisness license then you must report and pay a sales tax on any item sold within your state or any state you have buisness holding like a warehouse or office.

Yes, if you are running a business, you have to pay taxes. If you are just selling a few personal items, then no. I'll bet the IRS is keeping track.

the seller must charge tax to any buyer who lives in the same state or in any state where they have a business. so if i am a seller from NY and I have a sales office in OH and a warehouse in cA then i must charge tax on all orders to NY, OH and CA..

a seller must pay tax in any state where he maintains a facility, the state where his business is registered, and the state he lives in.
