How much are the Companies in the U.S. Really saving when they outsource to The Phillipines and India. It seems like everytime you call customer service or tech Support you get someone overseas. I am tired of all this thick accents and I have to explain like 10 times. Even things that are simple. These people are well Intentioned citizens but Why is Hewlet Packard and American Express doing this?

I am a student and am applying for a summer internship which is in another state. The employer indicated that participants will stay in an apartment free of charge, which is a taxable benefit. Does this mean they write this off when they file taxes, or does this mean that this will count against me when I file taxes?

Yeah, I mean straight ghetto ones, not the ones with mobile homes, but like ones where people can live in their RVs!

I've gotta get out of my house! My folks have cost me one job already, and now they're starting to open my mail, and get all creepy... Plus I'm getting a bit old for the living at home routine anyway.

Sadly, I don't have the cash for a whole house of my own, but If I don't have to toss money away on a landlord, I could afford a nice RV, and then when I'm making bank, I thought I could use it for vacations and such.

I'm interested in becoming a travel agent and I'm curious as to how one would go about getting started in such a field.

I don't know any travel agents and no one I've met has expressed such an interest, so I planned on doing research.

They can barely function properly but they want to expand and add more responsibilities. Example: Wal-Mart wanting to and selling grocerys. They bring pallets out on to the floor that are misstacked and dangerously leaning while the public are still "in house", carts in front of the door and parking spaces, disorganized or no stockroom, inadequate and unknowledgeable employees, improper training and management,etc. but they are going to expand with the assets and personal they have.
I know you have a company that you wonder about as well.

I am your average kid wanting to earn some money by selling stuff. I was thinking about selling candy becuase my friends at school are candy monsters but I'm not sure because a few days ago it was Halloween and they probably don't want to spend their money on candy when they can just eat their own from trick-or-treating. I was also thinking about selling earrings because I make earrings and people always like them and ask where I got them. Should I sell earrings or candy? In fact if MLM businesses done in a proper way, there will be happy users and distributors, who can enjoy high-quality product for cheaper prices. But also the fact is my friend bought goods worth more than a million dollars (that he can consume for the rest of his life!) saying this is to exchange for the distributorship and higher discount. Some of our mutual friends paid thousands of dollars, and some of them are making up excuses not to see him again. Telling the truth doesn't make him quit. Can anyone gives some HARD facts so I can send him.

I lived in Ohio and worked at a great company for 4 years and then I moved to California where I got another job but they just laid me off. I had to file unemployment through Ohio. My concern is that I wont be approved and I am freaking out because it is the first time Ive been unemployed and all of this is new to me.
