Weekly meetings allow employees to feel they are contributing to the company. Allow for input, feedback, questions, suggestions or new ideas for the company. Schedule one person each week to bring a snack for the group-gives them responsibility to the group. Also, it forces disgruntled co-workers to "meet" and gather in a neutral environment, sometimes settling issues amongst them which is counterproductive to not only their work productivity, but to what they produce for the organization. Weekly meetings are an opportunity to provide cooperation and communication amongst workers and supervisor(s) and equals company profit.
