I'm interested in becoming a travel agent and I'm curious as to how one would go about getting started in such a field.
I don't know any travel agents and no one I've met has expressed such an interest, so I planned on doing research.
This is my first stop: how would one go about becoming a travel agent?

Call a travel agency in the city where you live and say you are interested in the travel agency field as a career and ask is the best way to pursue this field.

I really think with the internet now, I think travel agents are a dying breed. I would pick another field.

i would go to a travel agency and ask one of the agents how they got started.
