Job applicants were told they would be called by phone to let them know if they got the job. I am worried about questions they might ask me on why they didn't get the job.

I am currently temping in the support services department of a prestigious company. So far, my supervisor, co-worker and even a superior have all expressed appreciation in my work ethic. In general on the job, I like to find something to do even if there's nothing going on. Right now, there is "no end date in sight", but they haven't hired me. I dunno if I will get hired or not. Do I have a shot? Anyways, I work with a guy that's been there for 10 years. While he is into his work, he's stubborn, narrow-minded and at times selfish. He also threatens co-workers that he will go to the boss and that you can "tell your side of the story". I've been there for only a few months, but he's getting to be a real pain in the ***. When it's time to go home, he'll be like "Oh, you leaving early?" and have this insincere smile on his face. Truth is I can't work overtime unless I get certain permission since I'm a temp. And today he's starting to watch my every move and kind of chaperone me when.

Would any of you play a online game where the focus is to buy and sell realestate?

It would be for fun and you wouldnt need to know alot about the real estate market. The economy would fluctuate and you would be able to buy and sell to there players in the game and talk with them.

Would you play if you could win prizes?

I work with a woman that has been involved in 4 arguments with co-workers in the last month. I have recently had a problem with her. She has been really nasty to me and took it upon herself to chastise me loudly in front of my co-workers, when my boss was gone. she later proceded to another part of the office and complained about me to the people working there. (they came and told me) She is widely known as a trouble maker, although no one will tell her directly. I have talked to my boss before and he has always said that thats the way she is and she has had a bad life. Reguardless of the life she has outside of work I don't feel like all the rest of us should have to put up with her constant complaining and starting fights. What can I do? Some of the other people don't want to make waves because they don't want to deal with her.I also don't want her to try to balme something on me, to try to sic the dogs off her

I was supposed to go to court for eviction on august 11, I could not get off work to attend. I was under the impression that after the judge ruled for me to leave the apartment that I would be served papers and given between 3 and 10 days to vacate. I have been locked out and am not able to get my belongings. Is this legal without me receiving judgement from proceedings on 8/11

My boyfriend and I used to to live in NC, where we have a beautiful 3 bedroom home. Last November, my company offered me a job in NYC, so I moved into an apartment in NJ. My boyfriend stayed in NC, with the hopes of getting a job here. He hasn't had any luck yet. In June, I was laid off.

My lease says I have to give the landlord 45 days notice. After I lost my job, I gave him a written notice explaining my issue. And he called me, and offered to lower the rent in order to help me until I found a job. I have been on several interviews tho. Do I have to give him written notice again (starting the 45 days start period over)? OR can I just tell him, I appriciated the offer for temporary reduced rent, but since I haven't found a job, I will be moving out the end of August????

My b/f doesn't want me to give up and move back to NC. Am I being realistic or am I giving up? Our mortgage payment, taxes, insurance is half the price of the rent!!! What do I do?

Hi, i charge £2.00 per design/face when i am working at a location for face painting but i want to do birthday parties. I can paint 10-12 faces an hour and want to be booked for a minimum of 2 hrs and charge around £60 for the first 2 hours... i don't know how to set the tarriff for any further time needed... what i mean is when a customer rings to book a party and asks prices i will say £60 for first two hours and that i can paint 20-24 faces in that time, but do i then charge per person for anything over 24 or do i charge per hour, and what if in the first two hours i don't get to paint 24 faces because they don't que up, but then they all want it done in the next hour!!!ahhh it is driving me mad , i just need help, if you are a face painter what do you do, or have you booked one and how did they set the tarriff? thanks hope you can make sense of this!!!

I am in my mid-30's and considering a career change. Due to the fact that I would need to invest a fair amount of time and money to become a funeral director (while caring for a home and family), I'd like some opinions from those currently in the field.
