I've never written one before. What is the basic format? And to all you employers--what are the do's and don'ts that really make a difference when you're deciding which applicants to consider?

Our company was recently taken over by some new management. As a result alot of people have either terminated their employment or have gotton fired. What was once a company of 40 is now of 8. I am one of the few and as a result, we are picking up a TON of slack. Now normally, I do not mind taking on more tasks and am currently doing so dispite an Internship and College Courses. Problem is my boss does not communicate effectively with me. She will assign me to re-do our Customer Databases with little or no direction (because she has never done it). I do my best and send it to her, not to hear back for 4-5 days later.. and when I do it's "Could you please send me the database listing?" HELLO!!!! I just sent it!!!! I don't want her to think I am neglecting my duties but am becoming increasingly frustrated. To be honest, I had difficuly establishing this database because my personal computer (they do not provide me with one) is low on memory from previous reports.

Please HELP.

I am looking around for my aunt. She doesn't live in the same state and has a problem getting out and being able to perform tasks at work like heavy lifting, standing for multiple hours. I am wondering if there is any real work from home jobs with very low start up fees or free to start? She doesn't have access to on line so it would have to be something though the the mail or telemarketing. Anyone know anybody who's real and hiring for this sort of thing?

Thanks in advance.

I have a BS and an art minor. I had a gallery show ages ago, and I've done murals for a couple of years, but am looking for an actual job in something artistic, gallery or museum maybe.
Any suggestions or ideas?
Thanks!

okay.. i have a car and a few other loans that i can't really afford to pay for. i'm running around crying everyday because i've managed to come up with nothing to solve my problem. i know i have a few options but i'm not sure what ones are right and what ones aren't.

not only that but i'm young and don't have much credit so my grandfathers name is attached to every loan i have. him and my grandmother have perfect credit and i don't wanna go screwing his up. i don't much care about mine..

is there anyway i can file for bankruptcy and not attach his name as well..? or debt consolidation?.. will he be involved also?

any suggestions are really appreciated! someone just HELP!

I know it will be an uphill battle, the government won't help and i know people need to use gas for there lives but it doesn't mean there's nothing we can do, perhaps something like discovering and boycotting only the biggest rip off company till it is so financially hurt that it stops ripping people off and then boycott the next biggest rip off company etc. till they all behave themselves and they all fall in line simplely from it being more profitable to do so.

My mother in law used our phone number to sign up for credit cards once upon a time. She has messed up and been unable to pay. She has resorted to a debt management program. THe calls are still coming to us (she doesn' t live with us..or even in the same state.) They are becoming harrassing . Even if I say she doesn't live here to stop calling, they say they won't stop until the debt is paid. What can I do? Besides changing my number....
