im young and responsible i dont go credit card crazy. ive actually have never met my credit limit but was thinking about increasing the limit only if it would help me build a good credit score. should i increase the limit or just stick to what im doing?

I have a degree in broadcast journalism and I'm trying to find a job in my field but afraid it won't come soon enough. Should I get a job "just for now" and work to pay my bills or wait to find the dream job that will determine my career? I doubt doing both will give me any flexibility for one or the other. Have a bank of america credit card in my name and in my husbands name, my son also had the same name (has his own credit card with them). They send us a credit card in the mail, I called them verified with them who it was by SS...they said my son, gave it to him. He has charged 493.00 ( He has about 2000 available on his CC) come to find out this is not his account but mine, and they refuse to put this on his account. Any suggestions??? My son is saying these are his charges, he wants them transferred to his account. I have always heard bad things about bank of america I really believe it now! They told me if i turned in these as not mine (they are not) they would proscecute my son...can u belive this?

I called a couple debt management places and they said they could lower my payments to $268. a month buti have to make at least 800. dollars a month. i only make 400. They said i would have them payed off by 2013. But they told me bankruptcy was an optioin. i dont know anything about bankruptcy so please explain everything you know. will it effect me getting student loans? a house? im only 21 and have a year and half to i graduate.

I am working for a small company that does everything longhand. I want to create a database of about 150 clients that will allow me to enter monthly charges and then will only print the address labels of those clients that have bought something for the month. They way they have it set up now is just an address file that prints all labels whether the client has bought anything or not. I want to keep this very simple. Which software would be best?

We have grown out of our home and need a bigger house. Someone suggested that we refinance our current home with a traditional loan (we would not need to purchase insurance b/c of the equity in our home would equal 20% down or more) Our new home will be bouth with 0% down with my husbands VA Loan. (which doesn't require insurance) Our home is in a perfect location for a rental.

Then why are there so few legal ways to accumulate large sums of money very quickly? Yet so many illegal ways that it's gotten so bad that people have actually resorted to scamming, ripping off robbing, backstabbing and double crossing other people in so many different ways shapes and forms for money that now it's hard to tell who we can or can't trust anymore?

from then on, she didn't like me. (How Immature)! I was layed off from that position due to downsizing and since I've been looking for a new job, the employers are calling my previous job for references and she is the one answering the phone.. she tells them that I have an attitude and never really wanted to work. This is not true! Isn't there legal issues here as far a deffamation of character. I can't get a job because she's been talking crap! I know there's some kind of laws. HELP!

Ok... I was involved in a accident it was a hit and run. My car was completely totaled. I only had liability insurance but I also have Unisured Motorist coverage... Insurance said they wont pay for the car because I didnt have collision insurance but they pay for my medical bills, which sucks because when I bought the car the car company told me I only needed to get liability insurance on this car.... I have called the car company told them all this, gave them the my insurance info.... and told them I can pay them a little at a time for the car, now they are harrasing me for payments and right now I honestly dont have it. They have called my work 3 times AFTER i told them not to call my work because I cant recieve personal calls..... My question is how do I get them off my back for awhile, and is there anything I can do to make them stop harrassing me. Plus, I'm 4 months pregnant and stressed out enough!!!! ahhh!!!!

If employee voluntarily goes on salary to financially help a business, is he obligated to stay on it once the business is back on its feet?
What if employee is on hourly wage and works in excess of 40 hours? Can employer elect NOT to pay overtime or is this illegal in state of PA?
