My friend just got a job at a bank as a teller but i dont know what that is? What do they do?

A teller is the person at the bank who cashes checks, makes deposit, withdrawals, etc. She sits behind the counter. It is a very unappreciated job.

They're the person you see behind the counter, the one who is serving you.In banking terms the lowest rung of the ladder.
