it is hard to find a blockbuster video or hollywood video near me (in chicago) anymore?? is it just in my neighborhood that they have all dried up or is it everywhere? as ON DEMAND TV and mail order rentals really run these places out of business??

terrestial tv is dead, pay per veiw tv is the new medium for the masses. the new cable tv stations give the customer the ability to pause rewind and fast foward live television feeds. all this without having to go to a video store for a dvd rental when you can choose a blockbuster summer film 3 months after it was in the cinema from the comfort of your armchair.

Yes it is very hard to find them now. It is just the same way in most of the bigger cities. And yes those other businesses run them out. I feel the same way. But once and a while you can find those movies. I guess you just have to go to the right place to get them.
