I love languages. I want to learn a lot of languages and want to use them and such. What could i do? a linguist comes to mind, but what exactly do linguists do? any other ideas? I have wanted to be a surgeon for a while now, but i love languages so much, and that wouldn't be too helpful, well i mean it would, but it would take too much time to learn both a lot of languages and go to med school. thanks!

I know this sounds like a naive question, but it seems like if supply is set by OPEC, gas companies would be paying those countries higher prices for the raw crude, so they wouldn't come out that much better. Do they make higher profits because they get a proportional mark up on a higher base price? Or is it because the gas companies have reserves that they have purchased previously at a lower price, but are now worth more? Can someone explain the economics of the oil industry to me?

Let's say I have 100 shares of Yahoo stock options at $5 per share, and another 100 shares at $20 per share.

Yahoo's current stock price is $25, the market expects it to rise to $35 next year.

Is it better to exercise now while the price is low? Or is it better to wait till the price is high?

Is it better to exercise the cheap $5 ones first?

(Better meaning making the most profit / holding the most stocks after exercise / paying the least taxes.)

I am doing a traveling boutique featuring children's and a few womens clothing and accessories some of which I make and some I buy. What I am trying to figure out is my sales are pretty good at the shows I've done so far but I was hoping to get outside of my friends to hold shows and have not been successful in booking new shows. What kind of incentives should I do? I offered a tiered plan based on sales some free some discounted based on $ volumn. Should I make something that is for hosts only? Any advise related to this would be helpful. Is it okay to ask the host to help? Keep in mind that I do not do a presentation--it is an open house for a couple of hours and set up like a boutique in someones living room.

I live outside of U.S.A. (in Venezuela) although I have a personal
checking banking account in US Dollars in States.
I need to make a check to be paid in Canadian Dollars,

what do I do, so that my kids will get the money i have in my savings account when they turn 18? I can't afford a lawyer. If I hand them the money now, I know they won't hold onto it til they are 18. I have been screwed by my boss so many times in the year (and my year anniversary went unnoticed), and I am now on my last day of my two weeks. Anyone know if it is against the law for your ex-wife to forge her name on a Tax Return while your going through a separation before a divorce when you are away in another state. I was told by the IRS it was tax fraud on someone else writing their name on the Tax Form. Could this be true if the IRS said this.

It's a very small bar in a town with a population of 291. However, it's the only bar in the area. We live in rural Nebraska. The idea is to buy the bar and generatre revenue in our local area. The downfall is we have bad credit. So I'm not sure if there is a chance unless we do a lease to buy contract. And I'm not sure if that is a good idea or not. Does anyone have any experience in this area?
