I have been screwed by my boss so many times in the year (and my year anniversary went unnoticed), and I am now on my last day of my two weeks. I want to get opinions whether I should bow out gracefully knowing that I am above her and don't need to stupe to her level, or should I let her know exactly how I feel and maybe even make a scene?? hmmmm.... I need some idea of what to do as it is nearing 5:30....dun-dun-dunnnnnn

I've never posted a question before, and now I see why it's so popular! You guys are amazing, very good sound advice. And quickly too :). Thank you to all of you for your quick responses. I will have to wrap this up now, I think I will take the more boring, but safe route and leave with saying anything rash, but believe me does the other option sound good!!!!!!

You have the right to voice your opinion to her in a tactful way, but making a scene would just make you look bad and you don't want that. However, you are smart to get out of a job you don't like. Some people stay just to have something to complain about. I hate that.

Take the advice of someone who's been in the labor market for several decades. You will NEVER have to eat your words if you bow out gracefully! I left my current employer several years ago, largely because of an intolerable manager. Several months later, I had to go back and ask for my old job back. I was re-hired on the spot, largely because I had NOT told that manager what I thought about her. A few months later she left of her own accord and life has been great ever since!

Make a quiet scene, letting her know that you didn't appreciate the way you were treated at the company (don't pinpoint her, just say people that you need not to mention...) In her office, just the 2 of you, then depart gracefully by shaking her hand and wishing her good luck. Then leave....

A scene may feel better, but would be more harmful in the long run. Remember, you're still going to need to list this job on your resumes/applications, and there's always a chance of this person being called for a reference.

Yes, be nice and quiet. You never know when you may need to come back.
You can know in your heart that you were the better person, and everyone who knew the situation knows it too.
Good luck in your new endeavour.

go out with a bang there is no need to give them the satisfaction of letting them know they got to you. you have them right were you want them ( by the balls). leave gracefully knowing that on Monday they ll be lost because you wont be there to guide them or finish your ex-job assignments.

I just left my job not too long ago and I had to tell my lazy good for nothing portentous asshole of a boss exactly how i felt of him, it felt good and made my co-workers happy that they got to hear me say what they felt, so my advice is give it to her

It depends on what kind of job it is. If it's something you will need reference from, don't burn the bridge. Raising hell on your last day will follow you.
