I know that the more laws you make you are only cutting your own throat.
But I don't understand why are the oil companys making so much in profit if they say it cost more to refine the oil?
I know that it's not the president that runs the companys!

I have been trying to get a patent on a ping-pong & tennis bat made out of titanium but there is a previous patent which is very similar. In this patent it says 'aluminium or similar lightweight metal'. I somehow need to prove that my patent is an 'inventive step' and not just an obvious thing to do. The patent which is already filed is very broad in it's description and makes it difficult to get around. Can someone please help me find non-ovious improvements for me? I really appreciate the help.

I manage a multimillion dollar business with 23 facilities nationwide. My employees say that I am too abrupt and direct when answering questions. The previous manager was very "family" oriented and but we barely broke even every year. If my management style has increased sales 4000 % over the past four years why should I change it? The results speak for themselves. We have a lot have managers who are older than I but who never put up any numbers until I put my foot up their ****. We have weeded out the below average performers and increased the sales of the mediocre performers. They are all making more money than they ever have and I make every attempt to leave them alone unless there's a problem. What I don't want is a general dissatisfaction with my employees because I do care about them and their families. Any suggestions as to what I may be able to do without compromising performance.

I'm incredibly imaginative, and I'm familiar with most of the kink that's out there. I've worked at a dispatch for phone sex, but their rule is that people who have been part of the dispatch office can't be one of the phone actresses for that company.

Any suggestions?

i was having a discussion with some friends and we can't decide...i know there's no dictionary definition, but what is the accepted answer? cash in the bank? net worth? (and does anyone know a simple way to calculate net worth?) and then another question we were pondering--where can you find a chart of the united states' wealth percentiles...in other words, what percentage of the population earns $50,000/yr, $100,000/yr, $250,000/yr and so on. sorry i know that's a lot of little questions here but any information will be appreciated! thanks!

The thing I really want to know is when they ask me how much do I expect to make, what should I say? Like what is a good annual salary and hourly wages. And I don’t know the first thing about bonuses. I don’t even know what that means! I need help there. And benifits too. What about those? What are good benifits to have. What should I expect?

I’m 24 year old woman and I have been working as coustomer service representitave (answering phones) for the past 8 years and I will probably be working behind the cash register or stocking shelves at Books a Million so I guess I don’t have experience there.

Does anyone have any advice for me? Like if you have been hired by BAM before? If you have what did you get paid and what benifits etc.?

Any general job interview advice?

Thanks everyone! You guys are so smart. You make this my favorite site!

I live in Bronx, N Y and I need help. If any one can give me ideas of how to get appplicants for credit cards or places where I can leave credit card applications for people to apply. My school was give a unique opportunity. For every approved application a get 10 points. What ever is my total they will devide it by half and credit my tuition that amount. So if a get 100 people to apply for a credit card and get approved that will equal 1000 points so I would get a $500.00 credit to my tuition.

I could sell it myself, but I would rather donate it, and then it is up to the buyer to pay for moving it.
