In my field, Computer Aided Engineering, virtually all
distributors are unwilling to cooperate.
They always say " We have no brochures, no demos, no info whatsover " "You are not allowed to read about our
products". "Don't contact customers". By the way, 80 % of info is available online. On the other hand, they do their best to rob ideas, even whole mind. For example : "Who are our competitors"
"What is your business plan", "How can we improve our marketing". The moment you give them the info, your are kicked out. I have also noticed that companies are always afraid that someone could take distributorship from them. On the other hand , I achieved great success with foreign companies including reputable international universities. I will never give up but I am really feeling so upset. I am fighting hard for 15 months so far.
Today I recieved terrible call from a distributor and at the end they said "Stay at home for further instructions."
I hanged up and won't comply of course.

Hello! My family recently put our house in california for sale. As you all know, the houses in Cali are super expensive. My parents are planning to sell this house for 500K and buy one in Nevada for around 280K. Are there any laws in either states that will interefere with us just buying a house "cash" in Nevada? We have lived in this house for more than 6 years everyone in the household works but it's getting harder and harder to make the monthly payments for it. Advice please!

At my job, we are having a re-opening of a newly created Koi Fish pond. We are planning to have a "Feed the Fish" type day with the kids in the area - and were wondering if anyone has ideas for this event?
We already have fish-type giveaways, and will be letting each child help feed the fish - but...how else could we implement the idea of Koi fish in the celebration?
(There will be kids of all ages there)

I have an interview in one week for a good opportunity with a better company. I really want this job~~I have been recommended from within by a friend who is upper management; I've had a phone interview and made a good impression; I have a great suit with some good accessories. NOW ALL I NEED IS A STRATEGY FOR THE INTERVIEW!

The position is a sales job, telesales for a niche market. I would be selling additional product to existing clients, plus contacting new and existing leads for on-site sales calls for the sales manager.

The sales manager already interviewed me via phone. He asked me about my organizational skills, my telephone experience, why I want to work for the company, what my career goals are, why I feel I'm the best for the position. Not in that order, but you get the idea.

Does anyone have any practical experience with a sales job interview? Interviewers, what ?'s have you asked, and Interviewees, what do you recall...and did you get the job?

THANKS!!!

I have done 3 interviews for an entry-level job. The first was a screening interview, the 2nd an interview with the boss, and the 3rd interview where I sat in the office and got to know the work and the other employees. When I left, the boss told me that I did a great job, and that he knew the other employees thought I was a great fit, which is what the job is all about. Then he told me he'd be in touch with me. It has now been a week and I have heard nothing. The employees told me the next step is a social interview which is critical, but when may this happen? I know the guy is still interviewing, and is planning on hiring 2-3 people, but when can I expect to hear by? Also, I sent him a thank you email 2 business days after the interview just to stay in touch and have still not heard either way. Is it a lost cause?
