I am new to keeping up with bonds and this is the first that I have seen the 10 year treasury fall this much. How unusual is a drop like this? What are the potential effects on interest? Obviously the turmoil in the mid east was the cause of this and I dont see the situation easing up any time soon. Your thoughts please.

the guy is still paying off his car with his original loan. this has a better interest rate than what I can get with a used car loan from a third party bank. can he somehow sign over the loan to me so I get all the responsibility of it and also build my credit at the same time?

We are supposed to close Monday July 17th and our land surveyor called earlier and left a message saying that the property is eased about one foot on the neighbor's land. All the houses are older, his was built in 1902 and it seems they have had the deed since 1985. The property we want was built in 1920 and has been with the same owner since 1982. There is no easement clause that we are aware of. What should we do? Should this be taken care of before buying the home or should we play dumb and see if things continue on? Surveyor says the whole neighborhood is a mess and needs to be resurveyed. Prompt replies appreciated!

I have 90 day disability at work, but I would like to know my mortgage is covered should I become disabled. I am single and do not have family, so am less worried about life mortgage insurance than disability. But, I don't want to waste money either.

What would you want to purchase from a downtown convenience shop that offers nice wine, coffee, snacks, etc. This shop will also have a 'living room' for hanging out and chatting with friends.

I want to make sure that I have everything available that people want to buy when they're in my store.

I live in a rural area of Maryland. The wages are low here, but so is the cost of living. If I move closer to a city in Maryland or Delaware, will the cost of living be so high that it cancels out the higher wages?
In other words, will I come out ahead by moving close to a city?
