Hi. I am thinking of getting my belly button peirced for my holiday next year. I am going to get it done the end of July and I am going away the end of August. Does anyone know if it will be ok to go in the swimming pool and the sea and to sunbathe even though i would have had it done a month before? And if not, when should I get it done so it will be ok for my holidays? Thanks bye!

My skin is really really sensitive. When I was younger shaving would cause me to get lots of infected hair follicules which looked like large zits. Now I've learned to manage it a little better. I use a razor for sensitive legs, I soak in the tub before I shave, I use Aveeno shave gel that is supposed to prevent inflamation and irritation. No matter what I try my legs still burn and itch when I finish shaving, there are numerous ingrown hairs, and little cuts from my razor (which I try not to reuse). Has anyone found any pre or post shave lotions or products that help? Is there any steps that I could take to keep this from happening? Please help!

My parental units are claiming that I'm too skinny and I need to gain weight. I'm not sure how much I way. But I'm almost 6 feet tall. I am skinny but I'm naturally skinny. I eat more than the average person but I'm in a size 0 (dont freak out.. everyone deos). I don't look unhealthy. I'm just tiny. Yes you can see my back bone. But it's not like my veins stick out in my arm or anything. I've always been happy with the way I look until now that they're telling me I'm too skinny. Everyone tells me I'm too skinny. Accuses me of having an eating disorder (and I DO NOT!) but now that my parents are wanting my to gain weight I'm starting to think that I am too skinny. Am I?

Ok, laugh, make fun, i don't care, but please help!
So i was sucking on a rubber popper toy... yes not thinking, i was sucking on it! and now i have a small hicky looking thing! on the left side of my lip!!!!!!!!

I don't have extremely deep scars on my face, but they are noticeable and widespread around my face. Depending on the lighting/shadows of a room, they can be very noticeable to not so noticeable.

I have seen a dermatologist, and dumped a couple grand into micro-dermabrasion. I noticed mild results, but could not afford to keep them up. I try to do research, but it is so confusing. Chemical peels, acid peels, lasers, surgeries, home remedies, etc.

I don't want to do anything super serious with high risk of intensified scarring, or that has long recovery times. I also don't have tons of cash to waste on unreliable methods. Can anyone offer some suggestions, either from professional or personal experience?

I have had my nose pierced since March and since its kinda been allergy season here I've had a running/stuffy nose and have been getting boogers forming around my nose screw. Is there anyway to get them out and to prevent them forming. This has been making my piercing kinda uncomfortable cause it makes the screw feel bigger than it is and plus when I decide to get a new screw I'm afraid they won't be able to get it out cause of the build up on the screw.

My frienemy got her ears pierced two weeks ago. She said that her earrings were of a much higher quality than mine. Hers are just a ball of gold and mine are aquamarine studs with a gold post. I just don't get it. I got my ears pierced the day before yesterday and the person who pierced my ears said nothing about this "plain gold is of a much higher quality than a gem" nonsense. ooohhh k.....i live in japan and pretty much every mall i go into has piercing guns for pretty much every part of the body....lip...tongue...brow...nose...ear... every thing...im looking to get my nose pierced...but all the research ive done comes back with the same answer..."unsanitary"...they come in individually sealed packages...with the stud and all.....is it no different or would i be safe?
