You can minimize their appearance by keeping your pores clear and reducing oiliness.

Clay masks absorb oils & temporarily tighten pores. Beauty w/o Cruelty's clay mask is a good bargain. Neutrogena Clear Pore Cleanser/Mask is another good one - it has benzoyl peroxide & clay; works best as a mask.

Some home remedies:

Aspirin will promote cell turnover & keep pores clear. Crush 4 - 6 plain, uncoated aspirin tablets and mix it w/ a little water to make mask. Or mix them with Queen Helene Mint Julep mask or aloe vera gel instead of water. Apply a thin layer to your clean face & let dry for 15-20 minutes. Rinse off w/ cool water.

Apply a thin layer of plain milk of magnesia, let it dry for 15-20 minutes, rinse off w/ cool water & a clean wash cloth. Plain milk of magnesia will absorb excess oil & temporarily tighten pores.

I used to struggle with pores and tried many soaps, but then I found Cuticura medicated soap. It's hard to find in stores so I buy it online. The shipping (USPS standard) is really cheap, and it's only $2 a bar. You'll get plenty of answers, but trust me -- this soap will work.
