I have had my nose pierced since March and since its kinda been allergy season here I've had a running/stuffy nose and have been getting boogers forming around my nose screw. Is there anyway to get them out and to prevent them forming. This has been making my piercing kinda uncomfortable cause it makes the screw feel bigger than it is and plus when I decide to get a new screw I'm afraid they won't be able to get it out cause of the build up on the screw.

Well, I'm going to suggest what they use for babies in the hospitals..they carefully use Q-Tips in a circular motion. Try that carefull...using just the tip.

I also have my nose pierced. I used to have the same problem. I think alot of people with their noses pierced do. One thing you can do is to use a Q-tip to clean the jewelry while it is still in your nose. Also, you can buy a "bone" jewelry. Instead of being curved, it has a small ball at the end to keep it in. It solved the problem for me! You also don't have to worry about it getting turned around the wrong way and it sticking out your nose. Hope I helped!

take the screw out and clean that and your nose daily or whenever you feel the build-up on it. also, take some allery medicine to help reduce the amount of boogers in your nose. and make sure to constantly blow your nose.

I HAVE MY NOSE PIERCED, AND WHEN THIS HAPPEND TO ME I JUST TAKE Q -TIP, AND PUT WARM WATER ON IT, AND RUB IT ON THE NOSE RING TO GET THE BOOGIES OFF...MAKE SURE YOU DO THIS BEFORE YOU TRY TO TAKE IT OUT, BECAUSE IT WILL HURT YOUR NOSE IF YOU PULL OUT THE RING WITH BOOGERS ON IT, ONE TIME IT MADE ME BLEAD,A ND THAT WAS NOT GOOD...GOOD LUCK:)

Hey, it happens! Just use a Q-tip with warm water on it and get them out. I blow my nose when I take my stud out... it doesn't get in the hole, but, whatever!

take a qtip and put some bactine on it, or whatever cleanser they gave you. rub it inside your nose around the build up and it should come off. dont worry i had mine done and i had the same problem! :)

Yet another perfectly good reason NOT to have a hole poked in your nose!!!
Take the screw out and let the hole grow up. Maybe it will close and not leave a scar.

I'm not positive, but I think you should take it out. I won't get a nose pericing for this reason. :(

pick ur nose lol i have a nose ring ur best bet is to pick it lol that is really the only thing u can do!
