and it is dark and dry from the swelling because i took off and put back on the waxing slip to many times to remove the unwanted hairs....and the next day it was swollen,now it left a bad scab,then i got rid of the ugly scab the next day and now its just skin then it turnned dry and crinkly i tried to use cocoa butter stick and clean it..how long does it take to heal??

I periodically get a bump that sometimes looks like a pimple next to my nose stud. It does happen after I spend time cleaning the crusties (eww, sorry but it's true) and boogies from it using a q-tip and tissue. I can feel it torqueing (sp?) as I'm cleaning but I don't know how else to get the nasties off the inside of my nose stud. Any ideas?

Okay so i was going for a tunnel in my ear and i couldn't find anything to put in there so i just shoved a piece of k-nex through there and now i have a four way star shaped hole i think its lush but i don't know what to do now i want to make it bigger any ideas???

hi.so in a class of mine our teacher asked us to make groups of 2-3 people,find a subject we like and write a paper on it by doing a 3 month research.my friend and I chose piercing and tattoos because we both have piercings and know a guy that works in a tattoo and piercing shop.but we don't know how to develop the subject.we already thought of doing reasearch on:

I have been tanning trying to catch a little color before halloween and i dotn want to pay $40 for a bottle of tanning lotion. I know there are some that are a little cheaper but i really dont have a lot of money rightnow, i will after next month but as of now im broke!!! lol i have been tanning in a tanning bed tryin to get darker because my costumeis short and i am ghost white and hate it.. what can i use in the tanning beds that wont hurt me or the bed. i know they say you arent supposed to use any thing other than actual lotion made for beds but is there anything i can do? like any homemade creams that work? and when i do have money to buy the lotion.what is thebest kind? ive heard that i need to get the kind with bronzer in it but there are so many different kinds i get confused.....

I have a pretty great complexion, but I recently decided to start using a benzoyl peroxide soap in the shower to maybe completely clear the skin on my face. I'm aware that some individuals experience redness, dryness, etc, but are there any long term adverse reactions I should know about? Thanks for any responses.

well i put it on my whole body sometimes when i run out of lotion, lotions are so expensive to get the good stuff...but my question is, is vaseline bad for your face?? i usually put on a thin layer at night befor going to sleep...so most of it comes off on the pillow, but i hear its going to clog my pores, but if i use a lotion or something, it just doesnt do what vaseline does! i wash my face every morning...

I love how they look and I wouldn't say I have a horrible face [ no i am in no way a vain person either, far from it!]
so it's not like I would draw attention to myself in that way.

It's just, i don't have a tiny nose, nor a big one. I asked my friends and family's honest opinion, they said my nose was just a normal size. So i thought it would be okay to get it pierced. [ I am 16 soon and very into piercings ]

It's much safer than tongue, which is another piercing i like.
I know my mum would prefer me to get my nose because she's scared of me having speech problems or severing a nerve in my tongue, etc.
