I'm a minor, so when I get older, I'm getting a purple star and moon under my thumb on the top side of my hand, a black heart on my wrist in between two veins, and an eight note in between my first and second toe on my right foot.

When I was younger I had all my tattoos picked out as well.
Ya, when I was finally old enough to get a tattoo I realized that what I thought I wanted was definitely not what I would want anymore. So make sure you rare eally, really, really sure.
I have 4 tattoos. A lotus flower and ohm symbol on my stomach, the "om mani padme hum" mantra in sanskrit on my wrist, a sparrow on my back and black tribal on my back.

I plan to get the Resident Evil Umbrella on my left shoulder. The Resident Evil movies and games have been a big part of my life, with my dad always playing and watching them. I've really warmed up to the series, and I figured the umbrella would be a good and easy thing to get done, but still hold the meaning.

I have 3....all are butterflies (right front shoulder, left waist, and left foot) and in all black stencil. I am getting 2 more. In the middle of my top back (symbol for dreamer) and stars behind my ear. All to say I am a dreamer which society has no barrier for the is as free spirited as a butterfly! :)

I have one that I am going to get covered up soon, Im not sure what Im going get.
Here is a little piece of advice for you.. NEVER NEVER put a guys name on your body and also think about where your going to get them.. when you start looking for jobs and such. Nobody will hire you if you get tattoos all over, especially if you want a job working with the public.

I have one at the moment, its a celtic heart on the back of my hip. I've wanted a tattoo since I was, well 11, so 7 years later I got one. Its kinda a symbol to let go of my past, but learn from it in a way.
My next one/ two is one on each shoulder, one for my mum and one for my dad. But I need to choose something thats them but something I'd want on me as well.

I have 3...just beware that they ARE addicting...but yours seem like good choices... tattoos in any place will hurt... my first was on my right side of my back near my hip...its a chinese symbol that means eternity...it did hurt but not as much as my feet...I have two birds on my feet one on my right the others on my left... the more fat an area has the less it is going to hurt which is not to say it is NOT going to hurt...

2, for now. a biohazard symbol on my left shoulderblade, and crypto-137 holding a disintegrator ray on the outside of my right upper arm. currently, no plans for another, but mostly because i can't have visible tattoos at work

I want none at all. I have designs I made printed on T-shirts. i can cahnge them every day. Getting a tattoo is like getting married. It is easier to do it than to get out of it. If I got one when i was an adolescent, I'd surely be sick of it by now.

I only have one tattoo in my right leg....its a chinese symbol for "mother". I am 41 and it's my very first tattoo! I plan to get just another one on my back in december
