I'd want to see a doc that shows a tiny bit about the past history of tattoos then went to modern day with interviews with artists such a boog's and other great tattoo artist of modern day. I'd want to see how tattoo have become mainstream because people see famous people with tattoos so they think it's the cool thing to do, i'd like a documentary that focused on how bad that is and how it's a stupid reason to get a tattoo. Then show the beauty of tattoo's and how it's a art form. Express why people get tattoos and how real tattoo lovers get tattoos mainly to help them get over a hard time in their life such as death or a near death experience ect..... Many people have found getting a tattoo is the only way they get over a problem. Then the documentary should end with body modification such as scarification and leave it with the question is body modification going too far.

I would like to see a documentary focusing on women being tattooed. Where are the most common places and why. Part two could be about women having tattoos in quite unique / unusual places. How did they decide to get them there, etc.

The history of tattooing -- how did it start -- how it has changed over the years.

I would love to see it documented more from an artistic point of view. I would love to see the life in a day of a tattoo artist. I would love to see a client interviewed on how they selected their artist, their tattoo etc.

I would love to see tattoos on dark skin. I'm black and I really want a tat but have seen few examples of beautiful ART work.
Not jail tattoos. That would be very disappointing.

Wasn't there a show about tatoos on tv already called Inked? I have no interest in seeing people ruin perfectly good skin, so I'd say no documentary would be a good idea to me. I've seen too many retired navy guys with huge ships on places you don't want to see ships.

I WOULD LIKE TO SEE"THE HISTORY OF BLACK & GREY TATTOOING." FROM THE START IN THE CALIFORNIA PRISON SYSTEM, TO THE STREETS OF EAST L.A., TO IT'S PERFECTION IN GOOD TIME CHARLIE'S TATTOOLAND IN THE 1970'S AND 80'S. LEADING UP TO WHAT IT HAS BECOME TODAY. INTERVIEWS WITH "GOODTIME" CHARLIE CARTWRIGHT, JACK RUDY, FREDDY NEGRETE, BRIAN EVERETT, MIKE BROWN, COREY MILLER, ETC....THOSE GUYS PROBABLY ARE EASILY FOUND AT THEIR PLACES OF BUSINESS SO IT'S TOTALLY POSSIBLE. WHICHEVER WAY YOU GO, I WOULD LIKE TO SEE THE DOCUMENTARY WHEN IT'S FINISHED. GOOD LUCK
