Lower back tattoos on a female....sexy or not?

Not, females are sexier without tattoos, in my respectful opinion. I have no interest in dating a girl that looks like a truck driver.

The lower back is a little over done. But it's still hot if you get something meaning full. When thinking of ink that will be with you for life try to think of what matters most to you and a good idea will surely come. As far as location if you want some ideas, I like the over the hip look. Like a arch on the hip so you can see it from the front or back.

The only reason I would say not to get one on your lower back is because that's the 'in' thing to do now. There's nothing wrong with getting a tattoo. It's not slutty or trampy or even dirty. Now if you're covering your entire body in tattoos then that's a little gross. I have 3 tattoos and most of the time I forget I have them.

Keep in mind that some doctors/hospitals refuse to give epidural blocks to women with lower back tattoos.
This means if you're having a baby, you may not be able to get the shot that stops pain below the waist.
And that means you'll have less options to help with the pain of childbirth.
Because the tattoos are usually in the area of the back where the needle enters, medical professionals worry about causing infection, etc. from the ink contamination.
If you really want to tattoo yourself, consider another area or prepare for the consequences.

Tramp Stamps are not sexy. I'm a paramedic. Just wait until you're about 55 or 60 and that cute little design on your back is all wrinkled and nasty looking when your grandkids are hanging around your waist pulling your pants down.

Honey, its your body, do what you want with it. If you feel that you would want that "sexy" lower back tattoo for the rest of your life, then go for it. Personally, I think they are over done and too common, but I like to be different. Just make sure its something that YOU want. Don't let strangers make decisions for u!

Tattoos shouldn't be gotten because you want to look sexy or impress other people. Tattoos are simply a personal statement. Other peoples opinion shouldn't matter. I have two tattoos, and I love them both.
