I love how they look and I wouldn't say I have a horrible face [ no i am in no way a vain person either, far from it!]
so it's not like I would draw attention to myself in that way.

It's just, i don't have a tiny nose, nor a big one. I asked my friends and family's honest opinion, they said my nose was just a normal size. So i thought it would be okay to get it pierced. [ I am 16 soon and very into piercings ]

It's much safer than tongue, which is another piercing i like.
I know my mum would prefer me to get my nose because she's scared of me having speech problems or severing a nerve in my tongue, etc.

****I am just wondering what are your thoughts on the whole thing.? ****

I do not have any piercings on my face and would only get one because i think more than that looked a bit much and i want people to notice my face as well. -thats why i tought a nose piercing would be good, like a small stud not a ring. (i am aware of the consequences and things, it is something i wa

hi hunni , i have had my nose pierced since 1975 when i was 15 i have never had any problems with it it has never had any infections tho it can get a bit sore when i get a cold and a runny nose but then any nose gets sore then pierced or not ... make sure the person that does the piercing is hygienic. have a gold stud don't mess about with it as in don't keep touching it and it will be fine ,yes it will scar but the scar is so small it wont notice anyway ( i have just one stud now i did have four) i have three tiny white marks that's it. if you want to get it done, do it even if you decide afterwards you don't like it, you can remove the stud and allow it to close up . i hope this helps you come to a decision xx. A note to Paul t if he reads this.... no the hole doesnt get bigger as you get older unlike ear piercing holes mine is no bigger now than when i first had it done .

If your family, school and/or job are okay with you having one, then go for it. Just remember that with any hole you put in your body, you run a risk for infection. I have my nose done and love it. I actually forget it's pierced until someone points it out to me,..haha. It's a very small stud that’s not always noticeable.
Be careful where you go. I had to have mine redone twice because the type of ring the parlor used was incorrect. If you like to play with the piercing (I know you're not supposed too, but we are human after all), make sure they use something that kind of cork screws into your nose and is hard to get out easy. If the post is too small, such as the one that was used when I had mine first done, it can me twisted into the cartilage of your nose and create scar tissue. Not good. The next parlor I went to help me was amazed with what it was originally pierced with.
Other advice:
Invest in Dial hand soap (the orange antibacterial one). It’s great for cleaning piercings. I keep mine in the shower to remind myself.
If you want small studs, one that isn’t incredibly noticeable, Claire’s in local malls has extra small ones. I use the one with the silver ball, it’s so tiny many just see something shiny and think it’s a rhinestone or pearl, or occasionally they’ll guess right.
I misunderstood when I bought it though. I thought it meant the actual part visible was extra small only, but it was the post of the stud too. So my hole has closed to the size of the stud currently in there. So if you do get those, beware. I love mine and don’t mind at all. But, just a pointer incase you go that route.
I hope that helps! And good luck! Hope everything goes well!

Probably a nose piercing because where I live belly button piercings are really common and nose piercings look great (I'm talking about the side of your nose if you mean the inside then belly button because the inside piercings make you look like a bull)

To be honest, I'm not that keen about that look - just my opinion.

I do like pierced ears though. I think some very nice earings would draw more attention to your face than a nose piercing. You could wear a greater variety of earrings than nose studs or nose rings.

Hope you make the right choice for you.

i have my nose pierced, and i love it.
it's tiny, and like you i have no other piercings on my face.. and only have my ears pierced on the lobe.
it does feel weird when you first get it, but i noticed people would look at me a little differently.. it's superficial to say but it actually gave me some confidence.. not that i dont have any lol. but as long as you know the consequences, and get it done at a professional place (with a needle NOT A GUN) you should be fine. good luck!

Nose piercings are so much safer then tounge. I personally dont like either, but i say go for it.You can always let it heal up if you dont like it. Ive heard that it doesnt hurt, and its simple. Ive even heard of people doing it themselves, not that you should try that go for a proffesional.

Go for it! Your only young once, and its not something you could really regret.

I got mine done about 2 months ago and I love it :)
I'd deffinatly recommend it to anyone.
It was totally painless and only cost me £10.
Make sure you look after it properly though. I couldnt be bothered to do mine, and ended up getting it infected afterwards, and had a horrible green lump on my nose which looked disgusting.
Luckily I cleaned it with TCP and hot salt water everyday and It got better.
Go for it! It'll look great :)

Use like a clip on because they can get infected the treated and put on most people who put them on you might not even know how to even lace their shoes let alone they can cause damages and you have to put things such as lotion so it cause a type of lotion to the property of that ring very much causes and if you do it you will face very consequences and I know your aware of that my sixteen years weren't the best in my life too much people treated me as an adult

If it's what you want, then go for it. I guess you've tried a stick-on one, to see if it will suit you? If you do it and you don't like it, or (as some people have said) you don't like it when you're older - it isn't exactly a disaster - you just take it out and the hole will close up! It aint rocket.
