Same thing happened to me last week. IT SUCKS! I took in my birth certificate and a photo ID from my college but they still require a state ID even if your birthday is right there on the official paper. So I had to redo my appointment for this Friday...

Sorry.

How would they know that birth certificate belongs to you? They will probably ask you for a picture ID. Get a new license made.

You need photo ID, they won't take anything else. Birth certificate won't do because it could be anyones and doesn't prove that it belongs to you. Thats what happened to me, i had to get photo ID because i look younger than my age they wouldn't take anything without my face on it.

Best thing to do is go to your local DMV and get a state picture ID.

yeah, any identification of yours. But I suggest not to get it in a first place, majority of people having tattoos regret they had it. I had it too,now I'm paying for getting it removed, costs a bunch, waste of time.

Best bet would be to apply for another license. It takes only a few days and around here(MD) they ship it to you in the mail.

yah, a passport or any other form of identification would work too.

but make sure you talk to someone about your lost ID.
cause if you dont there is a good chance of..IDENTITY THEFT!! and thats bad.
