My daughter turned 17 yesterday and for the last few years she has wanted a tattoo. I told her "when she was 17" I would take her if she still wanted one. Her father died 4 years ago and she has always wanted something with "daddy" on the back of her shoulder. I wish she didn't want to do it, but since I said yes (and it's been 3 years). The problem now is what she wants looks ugly to me. It's a heart with the banner going through it and says "RIP DADDY" and then the years of his birth and death. She originally wanted small angel wings with the words "daddy". I am picking her up from school at 2:00 and was hoping someone could give me some ideas to offer her. Any tattoo artists or someone with a similar tattoo here to share some ideas? Thanks. Also, we live between Rochester and Buffalo if you know of a good tattoo place?

i got a tattoo a few days back, and i haven't really touched it other then some anti bactirial stuff for a couple days and now some vitamin E creme with vitamin A & D.

a lot of ppl said it looks pretty healed, but im not so sure, im still not touching it much.

but i read online there will be scabs, but i dont have any. does EVERY Tattoo get scabbed? i have medium sized chinese charactors on my upper arm.

and also how long will it take to heal? i read someplace that a good tattoo can heal in as little as 4 days but some palces say as long as 8 weeks!

I had part of my big toe nail come off after I damaged it in an accident. Now it looks pretty weird. There seems to e a paper-thin nail covering my skin, but the hard nail you usually see is gone. Can a fake nail be applied to what's remaining? I have about 1/4" of nail left at the very base. If a fake nail was applied, would in interfere or irritate the new nail underneath? Thanks for any help you have.

i have a combination of oily and dry skin. i need something that will clear up pimples, prevent future break outs, and clean out my pores. (i have nasty blackheads on my nose)

I had it in for about 3 weeks, and decided to take it out.
It has been out for about 1 week.
You can still see the hole especially if i scrunch together my lips like kissing.
It's kinda like a tiny dimple hole.
Is this permanant??

I am thinking about getting breast implants but can’t decide if it’s the right choice. I have good size butt and thighs, good medium sized shoulders etc. Except for the fact that my breasts seem to be the smallest part of me!!!! A week ago, I got a tattoo of a peppermint on my inner-wrist. This is my first colored tattoo, and my sixth overall, so I know how to take care of tattoos.

The guy who did it was hasty and the outline is crooked, first of all. Second, some of the scab has already flaked off and the color is barely noticable! The white is pretty much my skin tone and the red is a light, rashy color!

What could have gone wrong? Did he not press down hard enough? It didn't really hurt.

Second, if I go back for a "touch-up", it's not really a touch-up and they will have to re-do the entire tattoo! And I don't want this same guy to do it!

I don't want to go somewhere else and pay another seventy five bucks! Should I call the owner of the shop? Is there any organization (like the BBB?) I could threaten to complain to?

Will it get darker as it heals?
Do you think they'll re-do it for free?

There are days when it's about 75 degrees, but the weather is surprisingly sunny. I've always thought that the temperature needs to be sufficiently hot in order to get a tan, but i see guys out in the pool when it's on the cool side. Are these simply misconceptions?

I got my nipples pierced last april. and they're still not done healing. i got them done when i was out of town so i can't go back and ask. i also got another piercing done when i was there and it healed perfectly, but my nipples aren't any better than the week after i got them done. they told me it could take up to a year to heal. but its been almost a year and a half. ????? is there something seriously wrong, and what should i do now???? serious answers only please!

I was looking to try something to help clear up my face. I don't have "acne" persay - more so 1 or 2 blemishes at a time and uneven bumpy skin. I don't want to go buy something and end up wasting my money so I thought I'd see what other people had used (treatment wise) and if it had worked for them. I don't know anyone who has used Proactiv or Acne Free and those are the 2 main things I was thinking about using.

I made the plunge and finally went through with getting a frenum ladder (took me six months to get the nerve to do it). Apparently one of my co-worker's sisters saw me at the shop and told her I got a piercing. Now my co-worker has asked to see it. (She has a VHC and her nips done but I've not seen them..she's just talked about them). So, if you were in my shoes, would you show a co-worker an "intimate" piercing if they asked?

I have a few tattooes in mind that I want to get, however I just moved to Mass. and now I need to find a new tattoo artist! Where can I find a good tattoo artist and how? I'm having one Hell of a time finding them on the net so anything people can give me or tell me to help me in my search would just be incredible and very appreciated! I don't care how far I have to drive as long as it's within driving distance, because they are all going to be colored and I'm pretty sure that I'll have to do more than one sitting for each of them.

I first got it pierced 7 months ago with i gun (ya i know stupid spur of the moment idea) and it cracked my cartilage.

I only had it for a week or so because it fell out when i was asleep and i couldn't get it back in.

I would love to get it redone. It is fully healed over now but is it still possible to pierce safely with a needle? Im worried it will migrate or reject the earring because the cartilage has cracked? Or is that possible? Please help...!
