They typically inject a numbing liquid (lidocaine) into and under the mole. The surrounding skin gets numb, they take a single edge razor blade (yes, like the kind they used to put into the old timey shaving razors), flex it so it bows into a very shallow "U" shape, and then shave the mole off of the skin. There is very little bleeding, it can be a little tender when the numbness wears off, but it really doesn't hurt, more like a little discomfort.

Skin moles are generally hyper-pigmentation observed on skin. Moles might get removed through surgical treatment, or even better by using many store products or homemade remedies.
Surgery is pricey, priced at from $125 to $500 yet it can leave scars. Home cures are actually low priced and even can certainly remove bothersome moles inside only a couple of days with no scar issues.
Home remedies include apple cider vinegar, tea tree oil, or even grapefruit seed extract applied over a short time.

Hi I had a mole removed when I was 17. It was quite a big mole on the top of my neck. I was laying there for about 3 mins and I said to the woman, "how long will it take?" and she said I've already done it. I didn't feel a thing. Good luck.

I had a cancerous mole removed -and as precaution they removed several others -the process itself did not hurt ,but yes there was some discomfort for a day or two afterward. It was a lot like a stinging /itch kind of pain -more annoying than anything.

It depends if the pest controller is using humane methods. He may just lure them out of their holes, grab them and place them in a cage for release some way away from your grass. Other people kill the moles, which woulod probably hurt them. But a lawn with mole hills all over it is no good - you are wise to get them taken away.

my boyfriend got one removed a few months ago. they injected him with a local anisthetic, cut the mole out and stiched him up. It was all done at the doctors surgery and took about 10 mins. He didnt feel a thing and said there was nothing to it, and all he was left with was a tiny little scar. good luck and try not to worry! x

I had mine lasered off and it felt like a pin prick and got a bit hot but it didn't really hurt as such. The mole has now gone but I still get a black hair as a reminder that it was once there - just have to get the tweezers out! (It was on my chin!)
Good Luck!

They usually give you a local anesthetic and use a scalpel to remove them. Then you get stitched up. It's not big deal.
