I bought some John Frieda shampoo and conditioner that i am yet to use.

I have blonde highlights that are fairly light and i bought the Sheer blonde Highlight activating mouisturizing shampoo for platinum to champagne but the conditioner for honey to caramel.

Is using this conditioner going to damage my colour?

Thanks.

Its only a few strands but I don't want my entire head to turn grey by the time I reach thirty. Also I have really thick hair so I don;t know if that factors in.

Hi, I just went through a bit of hairloss due to stress, but I am seeing small and very thin hairs in my scalp, does that mean new hair is coming out?

does new hair beging to grow very thin, and by the time it reaches a fair lenght it will be thick?

Just got a new haircut :) Nice and short for the summer. It's kinda of bob-like. Summer's starting and i really want a new colour! But what colour will look best? At the moment it's a medium redish/brown colour and i'm not too fond of it. My eyes are hazel. I'm looking for a colour that will look hot at the beach etc. But won't go a yuk colour with sun exposure!..♥

It's dead once it's grown, so is paying $$ for hair repair products really worth it or would I just be wasting my cash? Anyone know anything that can temporarily improve the look of one's hair, if repairing it is out of the question?

This questions applies to everyone. I know we all have hair that grows faster then others. But, I have been thinking and I wanted to grow my hair longer. Up to now, I been doing the following:
I take a multi vitamin named :Ultra Hair ( by nature plus)
I wash my hair 2 times a week ( Wed. with head and shoulders shampoo)
( Sun. head and shoulders shampoo and then condition with horse conditioner)
What else can I do to help me? I want thick, strong hair.

*Also on Thursdays, I massage my head with Amla Oil.*
Thank You !!

Once my hair is grown out to as long as it needs to be, how should I get it cut? Trimmed? Layered? What kind of wax should I use and how should I apply it? Thanks (:

Hi,
My daughter's (almost) four, and she has beautiful hair! My husband and i love it, and we refuse to cut it! It's naturally straight, and we take good care of it...she brushes it 2x a day, washes it somewhere around 1-3 times every 1-2 weeks, and she always wears it down. It looks strangely cut,though....it looks like she has cut-bangs! But we never cut her hair--it just grows like that (oddly enough). Anyway, my husband wants to highlight her hair! I'm like "WHAT??" .... I almost fainted. He thinks she would look cute(r) with light, light, LIGHT blond highlights. Her hair is brown, and has somewhat blond highlights now, from the sun and whatnot. I absolutely refused! He also wants to give her a "bowlcut trim"!! I told him he "already gave our two year old son one, our daughter is NOT getting one!!" .... Wouldn't you agree with me, not to let him touch her hair? Or should I let him (not the cut, just the highlights of course)? Here's a pic of what her hair looks like now;

Okay I havent gotten my hair cut in 4-3 years. I've straightened for just about out every school day and then some.
I know thats horrible for my hair, but it looks horrible when i don't straighten it.

Well my hair goes down to my chest, i have blonde hair, its now turning brown, because of genes. It's the kind of hair color people pay a lot of money for. I have a round face, and high eyebrows.

What kind of hair style should i try for. I always side part it, but it bare noticable. I have bangs that go right above my chin aswell.

Im really freaking out, i know it need to be done, but im afraid they are going to cut it shorter than i want them to.

I have had my hair really short when i was younger be force of the wal-mart hair cutters, and ever since i've dread going.

And btw, i've had it chemicaly permenate straightened, so the top of it is kinky, and near the ends it is frizzy and straight.

Whenever I take a shower I loose hair. Is this normal? I loose about 10- 20 hairs in the shower, and a few more during the day. It feels as though my hair is getting thinner, but that could just be me. Please help. Thanks :)

Well he was really good at cutting hair for other people like his little sis, so i thought maybe he could cut my hair. it looks really good too. in the beginning, it was at least down to me elbow. Now it is an inch below my shoulder and layered too. People usually ask me,where did u get your haircut. i never really responded to the question caus it would be weird to say that my boyfriend did it. IS it really that weird to have your boyfriend cut your hair?

My hair is light brown and shoulder-length. It is not staright, but not exactly wavy - somewhere in the middle. I usually straighten it. If I don't it gets all poofy and messed up-looking, which it sometimes does even when I do straighten it. It has long layers. I'm looking for ideas no how to stlye my hair. Thanks!!
