it starts to grow back the minute you shave it. No joke, typically it grows back about 3/8th of an inch per month. So make your count to get the length you want to grow it to.

If you shave your head and hair grows about a 1/2 a month, it shouldn't take that long at all.

Technically, completely bald people don't HAVE any hair to grow out.
