Hair - October 2007

When tweezing it grows back pretty quick, and i am a guy , so i wont be going to no salon or anything fishy.. So any tips? lol, i am not sure why isnt tweezing really doing any good.

I have medium-long length hair. its dark, straight(with slight curls at the bottoms) and layered.
I never know what to do with it, its either up in a pony tail, or down
Any ideas or suggestions?

i've been highlighting my hair so that it would be a little blonder, i'm already almost a strawberry blonde naturally, but ever since i have been highlighting it i haven't had a moment's peace due to my mother. My mom thinks it's "too blonde," and that it looks tacky.
I think it looks okay, and I'm pretty confident I have okay judgement, but the other day she said it looked just plain "tacky." :(

what do you think? should i get low lights? or just let it go naturally? or continue with the highlights? i do like the blonde color, but if it really looks that bad and I really am blind to it i'd like to know!!!

i couldnt find my costumes on ANY web sites but it's a devil lady it's a dress bout knee length with jagged edges and it had a red choker,and like really long flowing sleeves w/ black fish nets and black high heeles peep toe pumps,i have naturally curly hair but i have to scrunch it so it always has the wet look i have long layers 2-3 iches pass my sholders and it's kinda thick but i dont want to straighten it i do that somethmes i want something totally different not like crazy lookin witch but cute witch so if u can post a pic i could take to my hairstylist that would be great THANKS!!

I have naturally dry African American hair that i relaxed. I normally swoop it to the side covering my eye and leave the rest open but lately my hair has been frizzy and even dryer that normal. Is there any style or product i can use to stop it from happening.

I would like to purchase an "updo" tool like the Scunci Hairdostick or the Bandostick (I've also heard about something that you can wrap around the ends of your hair and then close and roll it up.)

If you know of a good "updo" tool, would you post a link to a site where you can buy it? I'm having trouble finding something that would work. Thanks!

I had it bleached, it came up brown, but it all fell out after a few weeks. The bleach was too strong for weave hair

I am planning to dye my hair red but I just want to check a few things first. I would be dying it for the first time and I'm 16 years old. My hair color is a light brown and I want to dye it a little bit lighter than maroon. Will my hair be really damaged? Is there anything I can do to prevent damage? I want a new hair colour and cut. At the minute I have a mousy brown hair colour and quite dark brown eyes with a heart-shaped face (quite a wide forehead).
