i have lost confidence in hair dresser as have had bad experiences with two. it wouldnt be so bad if they were small salons but these were high street stores!. i need my hair dyed again but dread going and feel i have to check on here if what they are saying is right. i also find that they always cut more off than you want and i always say a tiny bit of layers (which i am trying to grow out) and they always chop off more than they say.

Every time I go somewhere like Pro Cuts or Fiesta (any thing like this - not to dawg them) They always screw my hair up! Finally I've found someone that I've been going to faithfully. She always does the best job, and if I'm completely changing something she might not cut it as short and I can come back and get it shorter at no cost just because she's cautious and wants to make sure it's exactly what I want. Plus I've referred about 20 people to her so she gives me a great price! Only downfall with a great stylist is if you don't schedule ahead you might have to wait a little longer than just walking in somewhere. But you always get what you pay for!

My hairdresser is great. I take time out to find a hairdresser that listens to how I like my hair, understands my personality so that if I fancy a change of style he/she will make sure that it suits me, has a personality so that you can have a laugh and never says stuff just to please and takes time out to assess your hair everytime you go to make sure that he/she doesn't make a mess of it. This seems to work for me so I'm always happy with the end result.

I have been going to the same guy for about 15 years. He knows my hair which is difficult to get right so has never given me a bad cut. Occasionally he has persuaded me to go shorter than I thought I wanted and it always looked great. He can be quite bossy at times and tells me off for not wearing a hat in the sun!

I LOVE my stylist, she is more a hair-therapist because she takes what I tell her and makes it work for my face and coloring. People often go into salons wanting a certain style that may not be right for them, and you have to find a stylist who listens but also is honest and finds a style that works. If anyone ever made my hair look bad I would never go back.

I love my hairdresser.
Of course, it took me a long time to find her but I am very satisfied with Julie and plan on keeping her for years to come.
She does exactly what I ask of her.
(((hugs)))
