ok. i'm natural blonde and i want some highlights. any suggestions?? oh ya, i alo have some natural light light brown highlights too.

have a lot of colour in my hair

I then had it stripped, coloured & bleached. Took a couple of days & took so long & they put so much chemicals on.


It's not what i really want, i have waited a few weeks now

how long to wait to get it the colour i really want?


Any advice to keep it in better condition till i do so aswell?

I'm also a female, so this is doubly weird. I mean, it falls out a lot when I wash it, but even if I just play with or run my fingers through it, it keeps on coming out!

My hair is naturally quite wavey.

A few years ago, in South America of all places, I went to a hairdressers and asked for short and spikey. The hairdresser (he probably had few male customers with hair like mine) got all carried away, insited on using his "tecnico" and gave me anything but spikey hair (and my Spanish wasn't THAT bad - we did talk about "pinturas").

Instead, I ended up with this really, really, nice cut. He was chopping left right and centre, and the result was an emphasis on my waves, and a classic, "surfy" beached look. I loved it! Every hairdresser over there did the same thing, and my hair looked great.

Roll forward a coupla years, and back in the UK, I just don't get what I really want now. I always ask for my hair to be "thinned out" (it's way too thick), and "chopped into", but they seem far too delicate in doing so. My latest cut is a bit of a "bob" now. I would have complained but I don't know what to ask for!!

Help?

I have a few products to ask: Extra Strength Precision Brush-On Hair Remover, Cream Hair Remover Kit for Face, Upper Lip and Chin, and Nair Hair Remover Moisturizing Face Cream.

Which one would you recommend? What other products would you recommend?
[I do not like waxing kits or sprays]

Also, would razoring your face harm it?

i have red hair like darker red.. and well i have some blonde highlights but i want a couple more. and well my friend told me just to put bleach in your hair but not all the way up to your routs and it will bleach it and after like 45 minutes it will be blonde .... is this true .. and SAFE ??

I have naturally, stick-straight hair. No matter what I do, it will always end up straight. I have tried the "scrunching technique" with moose and gel and hairspray: it only looked straight and greasy and full of product. I also try using a hot curling iron and that just falls out. The only way I can ever get my hair curled so it stays is if I have been swimming in the ocean, or get it professionally done.
Does anyone have any suggestions on what to do to get a wave/curl in my hair??

Well i have heard from a few people that wearing hats alot will eventually make you bald. If this is true i have something to worry about cause i wear hats all the time. As much as i can. If this is true im curious how does that work? How does wearing hats alot make you lose your hair?

I dyed my hair today using Clairol's Colour me Vibrant hair dye, with the intention of getting rid of my highlights while maintaining my natural medium brown hair colour. Turns out, the product ended up making my hair black, and it looks horrible.

Is there anything that I could do to fix this? Also, will the colour eventually fade, possibly to a brown that won't look as severe as black? If possible, I would like to lighten it a bit at home, just to the point where it won't look horrible while I'm growing out the die, as in doing zero root touch-ups.

For reference, I used the Colour me Vibrant by Herbal Essences (clairol) and the shade #62, Foxy Brown.
