Not bleach!!! (Unless you want no hair at all...)

Try peroxide and then blow it dry (the heat activates it) It takes several times of this to get a nice highlight going, but it works.

You can also use peroxide in the summer for summer highlights caused by the heat of the sun.

That will not be good. I do not think it would work. It would make you sick from the smell and it could burn you. Sometimes hair lightener is called bleach but it is a completely different kind than the clorox bleach. You need to get that done in the beauty parlor, you can pay by the foil in most places.

Omg, I done that when I was 13 an trus me, all it does is leave u with nasty stinking dried out hair, it burns your hair and can make it fall off.......put a piece of cloth in a basin of bleach an see wha happens!! like clorox? Oh god no. Chlorine bleach will 1) burn your scalp
2) most likely turn your hair green like after you come out of a really chlorinated pool. Go the the drug store or beauty supply and get a frosting kit. It will do the trick safely. I have turned my hair every shade of bright orange trying to cut corners and it is not pretty.

NO. Don't do it. Hydrogen peroxide is better, but why not buy a highlight kit? It won't be as harsh on your hair as bleach or peroxide. Both are likely to damage your hair, cause it to break, split ends. Be sure to use conditioner after you do anything to hair.

DO NOT USE BLEACH!!! Unless you want to go bald! Try putting fresh squeezed lemon juice on it, comb it through, then spend the day outside. That will give you lighter highlights and it will not hurt your hair!

hon just get some stuff from the drugstore. that's not safe at all. or if you're parents let you get it done professionally if you go to great clips it's only $50-100 (i don't go there but my bf did and i was reading the sign lol) that would be the best b/c they would put it exactly where you want. okay don't listen to your friend she don't know what she's talking about.

You want to put chlorine bleach in your hair? Your supposed friend is a liar. NEVER put bleach in your hair unless you don't want hair. Bleach will disentigrate your hair follicales.

Clorox bleach? no way is that good for hair.
That's why they have special hair bleach you can buy
Just go to Walgreen's or walmart or anywhere where they have hair dye, and get some
or, if in need, go to a professional :)
