I have been told by numerous people that on a scale of 1-10...1 being the worst and 10 the best, that I am an 8. Is that hot? who are 9's and who ar 10's?

Do i sleep w/ my hair tied up, or naturally down? I've heard that if u sleep w/ it down you get split ends, and if you sleep w/ it up, it pulls ur hair. Which one, and why? And can u give me links?

I had two ingrown hairs on my thigh(which i weird because they were on an area I don't shave) and I managed to pull them out yesterday.I did that with clean hands and used a cream with vitamins and aloe afterwards,but there are still two red tiny bumps in the area.Will they go away?And also,is there any chance that the new hair that will grow will also become an ingrown one?

I have had the same hairstyle almost all my life .. straight, one length hair .. my problem is .. i have a LOT of baby hair along my hairline .. actually theyre not babies anymore because theyre an average of 4-7 inches hahaha ..

it's not really a problem except when i pull my hair back ... the baby hair makes me look like I didn't comb my hair properly!!! Ive had several people tell me to fix my hair when I have just combed it .. aargh !!!!

any advice how to tame it? or fix it? maybe a way to pull my hair back nicely that will help tame the little imps? help!! =P

I have really thick and coarse hair, and it looks horrible unless I straighten it. I got a hair cut yesterday and all my split ends are gone now and I want to keep it that way.

I'm going to get the chi iron so that it doesn't damage it as much but is there a heat protector product that works great?

I still have a full head of hair but,i shave it everytime. not with a razor but with clippers.When I take a shower i usually just use soap on my head since my hair is so short. Someone just told me i should still use shampoo even though i shave my head because its bad for my scalp. is that true?

I just got my hair cut and I hate it. I used to have side bangs. but she cut them all of! And she cut the layers too short!

I have really dark hair and i want to go way lighter than my natural color, but some of the hairstylists i have talked to wont do it for me because they say it would be too much work for them to do. I dont get it...if i'm actually willing to pay someone to do it...i dont see why they wouldnt dye my hair they way I want to.

I want to go back to my natural color, which is a cool medium-dark brown with no red in it, so that my hair will be healthy enough to withstand relaxer.

I've been using Feria Brazilian Brown for years. I get compliments on the color--even from hairdressers--but it tends to fade to a reddish color. Since my natural color has no red it looks bad as it grows out since the roots are obviously a different shade...and usually I just get so frustrated with the way it looks that I end up coloring it.

Is there a brown in the Feria line that will not fade to reddish tones? If I can get one that will match my natural color better (a cool "bluish" brown) maybe I will be able to let my hair grow out to its natural color.

I am the one in the graduation cap. I don't know if I want to do my hair much lighter because I don't want to strip it. But I don't want to really go dark. I also don't want to leave it the same.

In Harry Potter and the Goblet of Fire (movie) in the scene where Hermione hugs Harry right before the dragon task, she has her hair in this really pretty hairdo. Its like 2 loose twisted braids. do u no how to do this? if so, plz give a site to learn from or ur own instructions. thx

Girls, is it the norm for women to shave their pubic region or do most not bother, unless you are going on holiday or swimming etc.

I have straight/little wavy hair but i straighten it everyday. I've done this for about a year and i usually don't straighten it everyday over the summer. I now have split ends and my hair breaks off. My aunt told me that i'm damaging my hair..what happens when my gets damaged and are there any "long-term affects" ?

I know this isn't a local site, but I am desperate.....
I live in Philadelphia.
I always hate my haircuts, even though the hairdressers pretty much give me what I ask for. Can anyone recommend someone who will work with me? Who will tell me flat out, "no that won't look good on you, here are some suggestions." Oh and who isn't too expensive. It would be great to come out with a finished look for under $65. I don't want my hair colored-just cut, dried, and styled. But I can't afford paying $40 for the cut, and another $35 for the blowdry, and then some for them to do the finishing touch. Is there a place out there in the greater Philadelphia area that meets my criteria or will I just have to keep tryng new styles?
