I need to get my regrowth recolored and also want to go platinum.I know of quite a few options however i would like some suggestions,i colored my hair myself at home.

i had nice long hair, but it was SOO frisy, puffy and had split ends. i cut it short now its STILL frisy, puffy and the SpliT ENDS!. WHAT DO I DO? i cuted all my nice long hair just to stop all that friz and puff, but ITS STILL the SAME, what Do I DO?? i cant stand going Out Like this!

I kind of want to try a brown color but out of the 11 years i have been dying my hair i have never done brown. Does anyone have any suggestions? Do i need to skip brown and do a blonde like i have been doing for years? Will this banana color bleach affect color? ANd is it safe to dye on top of it? I did it 2 days ago.

Is there a type of straightener that straightens your hair when it's still wet, so when your done a shower you dont need to blow-dry it? If yes do they work really good for curly and frizzy hair, what are they called, and how much do they cost?

Okay, I went to get my hair cut the other day and the stylist told me that I should use dishwashing soap...or was it detergent? Crap. Which one? To wash my hair with every 2-3 weeks. She said it will make myhair more shiny and strip it of the sham and cond because I guess the stuff i use isn't that good. Any hair people out there that know if this is right and which one i was supposed to use?

My hair is naturally wavy so I use a GHD straightener. Its also dyed light blonde. I use a Loreal conditioner on it and leave it in a few times a week, but its still disgustingly dry. I've tried oils and mayonaise but they dont work either. Can anyone suggest what i can do so that I can grow my hair without it breaking off. Thanks

I dont understand, why shouldnt I dye my own hair....because of the chances I might mess up or it will burn my hair or what??? Why do they even have the different brand hair dye in stores if it will mess up your hair.... are all of them harmful??? is there any dye that wont ruin my hair I dont want to pay my stylist all this money for her to just dye my hair and that B*tch is expensive lol. help please if there is any kind of hair dye brand that I can do by myself and wont ruin my hair

Apparently in "the olden days" people didn't wash their hair often and the scalp went through a process of becoming really greasy, then self-cleaning, so the scalp was fine.

Just wondering if you would try it or have or continue to not wash your hair.
