Hair - July 2007

After the horrible a line that I got I grew my hair out and wanna try again. I have brown, medium thickness, long hair it's flat and borning to. I want more volume. More of a new sexy look, lol. A pic would help perhaps?

On hair dryers there are cold shot buttons. What do they do...are they better than regular heat?

I bought a package of weave on a track and it came with a shower cap and a stocking cap. It says to weave on it then take the shower cap off last. I don't get it. unless they are tellin me to make it into a wig. and does that work?

I am 17 and I have an abnormally small head. I am enslaved to volume shampoos and hair spray to keep my appearance looking normal and my body proportioned. I literally have no head to work with. I can't even put it into a pony tail, it looks dumb and my hair is too heavy. I have to cut my hair a certain way to keep volume and I'm tired of it. I just want to leave my hair alone without always messing with it. I want to know if there is any cosmetic surgery or special implant that can be placed on my head? Or like a plastic piece that can be put over my skull almost like a helmet. yeah this haunts me all day.

I want to dye my hair and am looking for something that will make it look less dull, since right now it is just plain brown. But I want a dye that won't really dry it out, etc.

getting a dark brown/black color. i have medium brown hair and i want it super dark like blackish but i hate the black color with blue in it.. any suggestions for getting a brown/black color? thanks so much! <33 oh also, i dont want to get a straight black color because it looks to harsh on me.. :)

My hair is wispy and soft like baby hair but it looks really frizzy and it's so annoying!!! most of my hair is like that except for the bottom half (the ends are kind of damaged and dry). what can I do to prevent it??

i need help dying my hair!
i want my hair to look like this:


but i don't know what color it is. i have dark brown/black asian long straight hair and the haircut is almost exactly like hers but i also have black eyebrows. can you guys please help me out my suggesting what color i should use to dye my hair to look like hers and what hair color brand it is in? and i also need to do something about my eyebrows, maybe i can dye them the same color as my hair or should i just leave them black?

I inherited my dad thick eyebrows , as he is from the middle east. I absolutly love my eyes, however they can be a little too thick I was wondering whether I should get them professionally waxed or plucked. Bit of a silly question yes, but ive never had hair extensions and basically, have no idea about them! Ive looked on a few hairdressers websites where id consider going to get them done, but i dont understand it, and dont want to ring them up or look like a dumbass by asking them these questions. Anyways, whats a half head? And a full head? I really dont know...

I have used the cyber purple from xxl and its gone wrong.I wanted it like tonks nymphardo's colour (Purple) but i don't know what to do is there anyway or anything i can add to it to make it that colour.
Please Help im really annoyed about this!

My skin color is a natural tan and my natural hair color was a really dark brown. I decided to go black on the hair (not emo/goth black) and I dyed it yesterday. I noticed in the sunlight it has a strong tint of red to it. It is actually really pretty, but my question is, is that normal? I really don't mind it at all.

I have a very dramatic, defined A-Line bob cut. It is about an inch-and-a-half below my chin and almost shaved in back. I get tired of doing the same hairstyle everyday...anyone have any suggestions?
