It's probably not so good for my hands, but when I absolutely can't get hair color off I mix Comet powder cleanser, some rubbing alcohol, and exfoliating face scrub-and rub your hands together-works very well. I also noticed recently that those clearasil ultra acne cleaning pads work really well too-at least on semi permanent colors.

this may sound gross but it works ....you take the ashes from cigs and mix in a tiny bit of water so that it makes a paste then apply it by rubbing it vigorously to the stains then rinse off you made need to apply it several times for the darker stains but i am telling you this really works- from a cosmetologist

You could try GoJo (the stuff mechanics, and the like, use to get crud off their hands). Also you could try Lava soap.
